Imagine the happiest people on earth right now and all the fun they are having. Imagine the most talented people and the wealthiest. It doesn't matter who they are... TIME will wreak havoc on them. Eventually the passing of time destroys everything we love including our own existence... Life fades to death, and from the moment of death there is nothing but a meaningless oblivion that lasts forever. Logic tells us that the afterlife is very unlikely because there's never been any scientific evidence for it. It's nothing but a slim possibility based on unproven hypothetical conjecture. We need a salvation that is tangible and based on evidence. Most of the world claims to be fans of eternal life but they gamble their EXISTENCE on the mere conjecture that God exists. For the majority of human history, religious superstitions have been the prevailing ideology and just look where it has gotten us. If only we could see just how much religion has held us back, and how many lives could have been saved if instead science was worshiped like a God. How many hundreds of millions of people could have been spared from aging and death? Most people have been so numbed by the religious promise of eternal life -- that they lost their fear of death and their survival instinct. If the entire world REALLY feared death, do you think we would still be in this mess? It is the lack of FEAR that has cursed humanity. If it wasn't for religion we may have already conquered death. It would not surprise me. It's time that governments be responsible with human lives and invest trillions into life-extension research. The atrocity of old people dying must end NOW... It needed to have ended YESTERDAY. How irrational that our world is enraged at the Jewish holocaust but says nothing about the much larger holocaust of AGING. Future humanity will look back on the immoral ambivalence of our current society with revulsion. Many experts are convinced that death could be conquered relatively soon if we invested 1 trillion dollars into Indefinite life extension. I'm all for the IDEA of a God. I don't like living in a world without protection and safety. Voltaire once said: "If God did not exist, it would be necessary to invent him." ... Personally, I think It would be good to have a God, so let's get to work. We need to think ahead. Most scientists agree that the Heat death of the universe is going to destroy us all. But I'm hoping that humanity can get their act together soon, cure aging, then all the nations can work together to build a God that can protect us from all other possible threats to our existence. Many speak of the dangers of artificial intelligence. Yes indeed, this is true. But we must eventually take that step. In fact, what if aging is such a difficult problem that only a super intelligent AI would be able to find the solution in time for us? The evolution of artificial intelligence might hold the key to our salvation. via Eternal Life Fan Club http://ift.tt/1NRDu2r
