Who wants their own personalized heaven? Virtual technology is in it's infancy but it will eventually become indistinguishable from reality. In the future people will have their own virtual space they can customize to suit their own interests. It would be like having a facebook profile that you can interact with in 3D space and invite anyone you want into your space as well as simulate fake people, characters or whatever you want. When I get tempted to engage in some hedonistic activity that would risk my health or safety, I remember to have patience and wait until I can do those things in my own virtual heaven without risking my life. If I engaged in such behaviors now, it could cost me an eternity of bliss! This is why I encourage eternal life fans to live prudently, safely, and always be a good law-abiding citizen. Curiosity killed the cat, but in virtual reality the cat would have lived. Many people are expecting Heaven when they die, but in reality, those people are probably going to miss out. What a shame for them! If you could design your own virtual heaven, what would it look like? In my heaven there would be fairies for sure. I could finally have Tinker Bell as a real friend! I would also have huge underground environments with water parks, movie theaters, gigantic mushrooms the size of trees, talking animals, and a replica of Willy Wonka's chocolate factory. It would be like a huge theme park with hundreds of different sections and millions of fun things to do. This is why I can't understand people who say they would get bored living forever. They are not seeing the possibilities of the future! If any of my loved ones die in the future, I would also create simulations of them. Though they would not be the same person, it would just be for my own emotional happiness. Once technology has advanced to this point, we will most likely be able to create a simulation our own memories -- even memories that you didn't know you remembered, which are buried deep inside your brain.
