Every time I see an old person I am reminded of the horrid possibility of death. I am deeply disturbed by the thought of getting old and dying. I wish there was an afterlife, but it seems like a fairy tale that people made up because they were afraid of death. I wish there was a God but I can't believe in a God without any evidence. I believe we need to save ourselves with science or else we're doomed. The universe appears to be indifferent in regards to our eternal life, but that doesn't mean we have to be! It would be careless to expect salvation from above. We must FIGHT TO SAVE OURSELVES. FIGHT AGING!
