It's very sad that there isn't a God to protect us and save us from death. That's why we should strive to create God, so that we can LIVE FOREVER in peace and safety. Right now, the closest thing we have to a God is government, but our current governments are very ineffective at keeping law and order, and offering it's citizens indefinite life-extension. Hopefully soon, the governments could evolve into something more Godlike. Creating a God-like entity will provide other benefits for humanity as well. We need an all-knowing God-like entity so that people can not commit evil in the privacy of their houses and get away with it. Hopefully one day, there will be no privacy, because privacy let's people get away with evil. As long as there is no God-like entity, the world will be filled with suffering and injustice. Also, without a God-like entity to protect us, there is always a chance that someone could murder us. Maybe there is a God — no one really knows — but there is not one shred of evidence, so we should all be very afraid that death is the end of existence! It's VERY unwise to expect an unproven hypothetical deity to grant you eternal life.
