The Value of Self — Part 7 If you want to value yourself, then you must JUDGE YOURSELF. Examining your own faults can be a painful process but it's very necessary -- otherwise you'll never respect yourself enough to STRIVE for your eternal life. You can't improve yourself without judging yourself. And if you don't improve yourself, then you won't value yourself. A huge secret to loving yourself is to never be satisfied with your imperfections and your flaws. Forget the old idea of "accepting yourself as you are". I say, stop accepting yourself! Be critical of yourself and demand more from yourself! People who attempt to love themselves despite their flaws, always fail in the end, because we can't fool ourselves forever. Our mind makes us painfully aware of our imperfections. Whenever we betray our conscience, we can't help but to hate ourselves for it -- and self-hatred leads to our own death. The less flaws you have, the easier it is to love yourself, so strive to be the ideal version of yourself and never stop perfecting yourself. Self-judgment is the most important type of judgment. By judging yourself, you'll make yourself fit to judge others. And the world desperately NEEDS more judgmental people.
