SOUND AND FURY - PART 1 Have you ever asked yourself the following question?:"What is the ultimate significance of my life if it ends with oblivion and eternal nothingness?" When I asked myself that question, I concluded that there is no significance or purpose to life if oblivion is inevitable. If my life was doomed to end with eternal nothingness, then life seemed completely pointless and absurd. If death was the end of existence, then all my accomplishments and achievements would be would be null and void as soon as I die and cease to exist. Though my accomplishments might still be meaningful to the living people, they would mean nothing to ME, a non-existent person. Therefore, I would cease to have any PERSONAL MEANING and even worse than that, I would not be able to have any more fun after I died. Having fun is something I enjoy ALOT, so I decided the best course of action was to live forever so I could have fun forever! I decided that I must do everything in my power to live forever. I also decided that I would be a jerk if I didn't encourage other people to take their eternal life seriously, because I knew their life is meaningless if they die.
