Anyone who denies the possibility of eternal life is not a good philosopher. I suspect many of these people have a bias to deny the possibility of living forever because they are preparing for their own death and they don't wanna feel like they're missing out on something. In other words, they've already given up and they want others to give up so they can feel better about their own death. But here's the truth... Eternal life is like the ultimate game. Some MIGHT succeed, and others will most definitely fail because they didn't even try. A wise person would try their hardest and never give up.
