This comic perfectly illustrates the colossal tragedy of life. The tragedy of life is not that life lacks beauty or meaning. The tragedy of life is that beauty and meaning eventually decay and disappear for each individual. There is simply not enough time to enjoy the pleasures of life... When a person dies, the world continues without them, but this offers no benefit to the dead person who is now forever separated from the joys of living. The dead person lost EVERYTHING. People work so hard trying to improve themselves, acquire knowledge, create meaningful relationships, and to build the life they desire, but sooner or later death destroys it all... Death robs life of all it's meaning and reduces life to a sad absurdity. Life is a sour deal. Life is an Indian giver that takes back everything it gives. The only way to escape this absurdity is to cure aging, avoid death by all causes, and live forever physically. This way our life can be truly meaningful. This is the hope I have for myself and every eternal life fan. via Eternal Life Fan Club http://ift.tt/1PnazHy
