The reason why people fear aging is not a mystery. Aging causes extreme suffering and misery and then it kills you. The beautiful life that you once had crumbles into nothing. Everything you worked so hard for becomes meaningless to you at the moment of your death... This is not rocket science. Aging is the largest cause of death and is therefore the worst problem humanity faces.
