Helping others and being compassionate benefits your own chances of living forever. When you lead with your empathy, you will likely feel better about yourself and have a higher self-esteem. The higher your self-esteem the easier it is to love yourself, and the more you love yourself the harder you will try to live forever. You will likely make better choices if you feel like a good person who is deserving of success and eternal life. Of course I think everyone should have the RIGHT to live forever and whether someone "deserves" to live forever is subjective. But I do believe that it's very possible for people to feel unworthy or undeserving of life and lots of people live a lifestyle that makes them feel as such. I think a lot of people end up hating themselves and they don't even want to live forever because they can't live with themselves due to feeling greedy, guilty and dirty on the inside. I think a lot of people consciously or subconsciously punish themselves with death because they are riddled with a guilty conscience. So when it comes down to it, living ethically and helping other people is the most selfish thing you could do. So, in a very lose sense, the idea of karma can be scientific. What goes around does have a tendency to come back around, at least in terms of increasing your own sense of self-worth and via reciprocal altruism. via Eternal Life Fan Club http://ift.tt/1HI38mo
