Nature was never your friend, because nature is indifferent and doesn't care about your eternal survival.... It is us human beings that must CARE enough to save ourselves from the indifference of nature that threatens to annihilate us. Entropy is slowly turning us back into dust but science and technology might save us from the chains of death that have enslaved us from the moment we were born. Part of what it means to be an eternal life fan is to see life as it really is... A nightmare — a tragedy that must be fixed. Once we've defeated aging, we've only just scratched the surface of the potential threats to our existence. If we eventually die from an accident, terrorism, being murdered, a nuclear bomb, a natural disaster, or a viral pandemic — then it was pointless to cure aging in the first place.
