If he was smart, Braveheart would have surrendered and lived, even if the terms of his surrender was to live under the rule of a tyrant. BEING ALIVE is far more important than freedom. I would gladly give up any of my freedoms just to be allowed to LIVE. We can take a valuable lesson from the story of Braveheart. There have been many so called "freedom fighters" that died for freedom -- and now they are nothing. Do not oppose powerful forces that you don't stand a chance against.
