Every eternal life fan is in a desperate struggle against death. There's nothing we want more than to live forever... But we have no assurance that we'll succeed, and this is the true disaster we all face. This is the nightmare we can never escape from. Even if we are still alive billions of years from now, there will still be the possibility of dying and ceasing to exist. This is why we must never get overconfident. Living forever is an immensely difficult goal, which is why we must be perfectionists when it comes to the development and execution of our strategy. Overconfidence is the enemy of a perfectionist.
