I try my best not to sugarcoat anything -- to live my life free from illusions and delusions. I know the odds of Eternal Life are heavily stacked against me and I could SO EASILY FAIL, which is why I must always strive for my eternal life with fear and trembling! A strong fear of death is uncomfortable but I think it's also necessary, considering what's at stake. The Longevity escape velocity might not arrive as soon as some people expect.
