To be clear, I do not judge anyone for believing in God. I understand that the belief in God is not a voluntary choice that somebody makes. Beliefs are not choices, just as my disbelief is not a choice. The mind is either convinced or unconvinced of the truthfulness of a given claim. For this reason, beliefs are neither a virtue or a sin. What I judge is ACTIONS that result from the belief in God. The belief in God is usually attached to the belief in the afterlife, which consequently devalues the extreme importance of protecting this life -- the only life we know exists. I've talked with MANY believers in God, and a common trend is a negative reaction or an attitude of indifference in regards to curing aging. They want to get to their imaginary heaven ASAP, and they are not in favor of indefinite life extension because most believe it's "God's plan" for every person to die and face the judgment of God. You have to remember that 99 percent of religions promote death -- they are DEATH CULTS! It's time to speak honestly about what is really going on, and how religion is holding society back. Religion is a mind virus that makes people accept death, and as we speak, innocent children are being infected. At the very least, you should expect a theist to be an agnostic theist -- meaning they should not claim to be certain that God exists. But as it is, the vast majority of theists claim to be certain they are correct. This is delusional and these people should be embarrassed. Speak out and do your part to destroy everyone's faith in God.
