This quote from the movie Lucy immediately stood out to me as being Eternal Life Blasphemy. We should try our best to destroy people's faith in an "immortal soul" that can survive physical death. Believing in the soul helps people cope with death, but by indulging themselves with wishful thinking, they might not take their physical health seriously enough. As long as people believe they are already immortal, they will be content with dying and perhaps even excited about dying. Therefore, the majority of people who believe in the soul will never care about ending physical death from senescence. Needless to say, they will likely cease to exist when they die. They may never get the eternal life they claim to desire. Anyone you know that believes in the soul, warn them. Tell them the very uncomfortable truth that God and heaven are wishful thinking.
