We better strive to cure aging!!! If we ignore the plight of the elderly who suffer and die on a daily basis, then we risk being judged by a hypothetical deity for our lack of empathy and our lack of concern for our own health. Secondly, it is exceedingly possible that no such deity exists, in which case, curing aging is our only chance of getting eternal life!!! So curing aging is the most logical choice from both a religious perspective and an atheistic perspective.
